All holiday flats on the Kaltenbrunnhof in Castelrotto have a balcony or sun terrace. From there you can enjoy the unique view of the Sciliar massif and the Isarco Valley in South Tyrol.
All our holiday flats in Castelrotto within our farmhouse are about 40 square meters large and well-kept; they are very well-kept and spacious. The holiday flat “Dolomiten”, on the other hand, which is located in the house of the young farmer’s family, offers plenty of space and living comfort for large families with children with its two bedrooms. The equipment is complete and includes bed linen, towels, tea towels, cooking utensils, satellite TV and WIFI. For your breakfast on the farm we offer you daily fresh bread service, and for a good “Halbmittag” (mid-morning snack) or a hearty “Marende” (afternoon snack) why not try the farm’s own showpiece product: Trocker Speck.
Children are rarely bored on our farm: our youngest guests can enjoy a large meadow for running and playing, as well as a playground with a playhouse, slide, swing, and sandbox.
Kaltenbrunnhof is also home to various small animals. A special highlight is our fallow deer enclosure with around 20 animals. Our “Passeier mountain goats” stay at the farm only during winter and spend their summers on the alpine pasture. The curious dwarf goat bucks “Zeus, Ares, and Luigi”, on the other hand, are at the farm year-round.
For fresh eggs, we keep egg-layers: a small group of hens and quails. Our dog Jenny and the three cats are always happy to receive some cuddles.
In summer, various herbs grow in our garden, which guests are welcome to pick and use. Depending on the season, you can also sample our fresh fruit and berries.
Upon request, we’ll gladly take you on a tour of the farm, introduce you to our animals, and share a bit of the farm’s history.
Our garden barbecue is available for your use all year round.
Depending on your interests and the time of year, we can organize a hike or a day of skiing together.
If you arrive by bus or train, we will gladly pick you up from the nearest station.
